The rating #'s in the stars... what do they mean

OK, what do the little numbers mean in the stars. Do they affect what you get paid? As you can tell I just went over the 100 mark and I don't quite understand what they are for? Are they from people rating you or what? I have heard people on here talking about them before, but I never really paid much attention, since I didn't have one yet. Now one magically appeared and I don't know what a star with a number 9 in it really means!!??

The stars are your rating here on myLot. If you are not familiar, there are little boxes =, -, !, to the right beneath peoples posts or responses. The number in the star is the number that you've recieved from how people have rated things that you have said. It doesn't have any bearing on what you get paid, I guess it's just for others to see how well liked you are. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I never realized what they were for or that we were really supposed to rate people for that matter!! HA HA HA!

The ratings in the stars means that how much you reputation is on this website.If someone gives you + ratings to your started discussion or responsed discussion you will not increase you ratings but if you get many + ratings from different people at mylot the chance of you reputation increasing will be more.That's not all you will also have too "Mark best response" to your discussions for increase chance to get more star ratings.The more is you ratings out of 10 the more will be your reputation on this website.

See, these are the things that are hard to understand on here. I did not understand the fact that you can mark best responses, or what that is even used for. MyLot needs to have a more in depth explanation when you sign up. I have never marked a best response because I didn't know why I should bother. I have also never rated because I was never told why I should or what it is about..... MY LOT IF YOU ARE LISTENING, TAKE NOTES. HA HA HA, it would just be nice to know right away! That's all.
