Ever lost a friend because of your partner?

I lost my best friend for awhile, when i was wit my ex fiance.
When my ex fiance and i got together in the beginning he would always look for me when he knows im hanging out with her. When we moved in together he isolated me from her and my other close friends. At one stage for 8 months my best friend and i were best enemies we didn't talk to each other she did somethings that was so immature to make my fiance and i get mad at her. But when we finally started talking again, our bond aren't the same anymore....we were childhood friends. And its not the same as it used to be, we're still friends but not bestfriends anymore....i think. I blame my ex fiance for this. What do you people think? Have you ever had any similar situation like this? I want to hear your stories and opinion.

we're not together anymore...he didn't like my bestfriend coz she was a bit wild. But yeah i agree guys who are contolling are abusive. thanks foe the comment

I haven't really lost all of my friends but I have not hung out with them as much since my marriage and my baby. We try to get together every now and then. But I haven't gotten into any fights with my friends that would cause me not to talk to them anymore.

Your lucky. For me that was the first n i dont want that to happen again. In a way im glad it happend, it made me stronger and a bit wiser. Thanks for the comment.

yeah man and really is quite heart breaking when something like this happens.Thats why i hav just stopped making good friends at all.i dont beleive in virtual friends.Thats y i spend most of my time on the net.

men are sometimes controlling but you should know how to handle them.i've been in a situation like this but i told the guy if he wants to be with me,he has to respect my friends.

Thanks for the comment. I did told him after my bestfriend and i started talking again...but he didn't like that. I guess thats one of the reasons why we broke up. He wanted me to do what he wants. Til to this day he stil doesn't like my bestfriend and same goes for her.
