i dont see why there would be a problem other than they might not like what you are trying to give them. but i see no problems of them eating what you are eating

I don't know whether my opinions are right or not, I'd like to share with you. I don't think that my child has to have the low fat diet. As children grow fast and they need more and extra various kinds of nutrition. So I don't agree that I should give low fat foods for my child.

do you have a child already youless? how old are they? as for me my children are in their teens already i have 4 kids and 3 of them are girls. they like to maintain their figure as well (funny). so i think there is nothing bad if they eat what i eat. if they are still young of course i wont let them.

Many of the diet foods that you eat are fine for them to eat too, but I would be careful with some of the diet foods such as the cola that contain artificial sweeteners. The Nutrasweet or aspartame in pop is not healthy. It gives me migraines, and causes stomach problems in one of my kids. If you give it to your kids, you shouldn't give them very much.
The low fat milk and light butter and mayo are fine. They won't hurt them a bit. I give these to my kids quite often, in fact, when my younger boys were little the doctor had be give them the low fat milk because they were having stomach problems and it was easier to digest.

Light butter and light mayo are ok. As for the milk, we use 2% milk ourselves (all four of us, my kids are 29 and 24 yrs. old and we are all trying to eat less junk). I do not advise drinking diet pop (Nutrasweet and Splenda sweetened liquids) because there's a lot of negative health reports about them. If you want to check for yourself, go to DrMercola.com and do a search. You will be quite shocked (at least I know I was!). Good luck on your diet and I hope you get the results you are looking for. BTW: drink lots of green tea because it will help to detoxify you and boost your metabolic rate as well. And of course, good old water is fabulous for dieters--helps to conquer cravings and keeps you hydrated as well! :-0

There is no reason why they shouldn't eat healthier!
The only thing I was going to say is kids should be drinking whole milk until they are 2 or 3 but you said you have early teens, so scratch that!
