Help I've fallen and I can't get up II

NO I did not fall again I almost slipped of the edge of the pool yesterday but I was not dizzy so I was able to get my balance.
I called and told my twin that I feel in the pool she then told our father. I called dad on Father's day and he said "I have to congradulate you on something." I said what. He then started laughing and said "For falling into the pool."
My friends, my hubby and now my dad thinks its funny I guess it is.
I told my dad I went out and bought a negligee to fall in with next time. He just laughed and laughed.
Now I am one to take a joke and one who can make fun of myself but my dad even thinks it is funny. I hardly ever speak to my dad and he just laughed and laughed. OH well next time I will not tell anyone I will just get out and dry off, Petie my dog knows how to keep a secrete. LOL

I can see how that would be taking the joke too far! I'm sorry to hear about your fall, I've been having lots of those this week myself! Though I don't own a pool, so that hasn't been an issue for me. So far the worst one I have had was on my steps, but it wasn't very far and I made a very good landing out of it! =p
I prefer to keep such things to myself most of the time too, because while it's funny the first few times, it rapidly just gets old joking about it!

I tell my friends that they can laugh if I fall but they they have to help me up and so far that has worked for me. I told my doctor that a bad fall is broken bones and anything else is a minor fall. So far I have been lucky.
One day a friend and I was moving my couch and she pushed one end and I lost grip on the other end and she pushed me over on my butt. The bad part of it was I almost hit the cornor of the doorway. I landed on my butt and then flat on my back. I had to laugh after the inital shock of the whole thing. Now it is a running joke that my friend was trying to kill me. It might sound bad to someone who does not know what these dizzy spells are like. But not to know when they are coming you can't live in a bubble and bacome a vegebale. You have to live your life and take the bad with the good. LOL
