This has to be one of my favorite books that I ever had to read for school.

The best book I've ever read after the books of Dan Brown. S.E. Hinton did a great job.

While the book was certainly very interesting (and also touched me), I had the feeling that it wasn't really that realistic. The book, after all, is authored by a girl in her teens, and she seems to romanticize the guys in the story in an almost fairy-tale like way. Most of the guys I know don't really like the book--it just doesn't portray their actions realistically. They are all far too sappy and nurturing, not usually roles played by men, especially men who grew up in their environment. Ahh well, each to their own.
