We are gifts

Teachers are gifts from God! We take care of children that are not our own, be paid an amount that is not even equivalent to our hardship, be threated by parents badly because they feel that we are not good enough for their sons and daughters when in reality they are the one at fault. We mold our pupils lives, to become better individual, hone them to be a better citizen and maybe become a better leader.
I guess parent should stop pointing at us, as to why their children are reblling against them or just being indifferent. It is in their home that has a problem not in our classroom. We teachers strive very hard to make our classroom a home of learning... they come to school unclean, with bad outlook with anger... it is not us that put anger in this child's heart... because all we do is LOve.

my vote goes to your discussion and"+" rating too.it is really a tedious job to handle so many students especially when they are in their teens.they need more understanding and love not only from their teachers but parets also.but i m sorry to say that parents think teachers to be magicians like we can do anything and everything on their beck and call.after all we are humans too and need appreciation for our hard work.parents do come to tell about the problems of kids but never praise the teacher when the change takes place.

hi, I agree with you also.. that is one area or perspective to which the teachers have to deal. It's very hard. I can recall when I was in my high school, most of my classmates have different attitudes and personalities.
For the teacher, she/he must be aware of each student's behavior and that's very difficult. Too many things to do, for one person alone.

I think that as teachers the expectations are almost unreal. Because in the actual setting, the students are the ones bringing forth in class what they mirror from the influences they are shown to. Which is why I couldnt agree more with you..
It would be wonderful if people could atleast show some respect and love for this profession.

yes its absolutely right. teachers are gifts for those u have been benefitted by them and some students curse their teachers as if they are the one who have ruined their careers.
Teachers are the one who comes next to their mohter. We take care of them to create an better individual out of them.
Three cheers for all individuals who have taken teaching as their career.

you're right. most of the times, teachers are blamed for what the student/child turned out to be. some parents are missing the substance of the term 'parent'. they are supposed to be the first teachers. I am blessed with a mom who is a teacher at the same time.

Yes it's tru and it's a noble profession for course.
Teacher plays a big part in everyone's life. I just don't know where did they get the patience and courage to handle so many students in a class...Oh my I can't imagine this job really.
I'm so proud of all the teachers out there.
