Uncomfortable Feeling Before ovulation?

Do you ever feel any uncomfortable feeling of pain in the abdomen before ovulation? Because I have been. And very painful during contact too. Is this normal?

I have PCOS nad I go through the same thing when I (rarely) have a period.
