Do you think it is O.K. to date people at the same time?

Here in our country, we have this norm that it is NOT good to see that you are dating two people at the same time. Because your neighborhood and friends will judge you as player. But I know of a certain friend from other country who is dating many girls here in our town. His reason is that he is still in the period of choosing of who is the best among the girls he dated. Then, once he has a best choice already thats the time that he will quit dating the other girls... What do you think he is doing? Is it proper or not?

How come if girls date more than one guy at once they are insulted and when guys date lots of girls at once they are treated like a hero. I think it is just wrong, no matter who you are you should only date one person at a time otherwise there will not be trust but jealousy, and how can the relationship develop from that.

Well it sounds like he has a massive ego, maybe if you could encourage others to ignore him and stand up to him, then he would learn to respect women in your town more. It sounds like he is using women because he believes he can and has the right to. I think your town should tell him that his behaviour is not acceptable and is creating a bad atmosphere for everyone else. Plus the women should not allow themselves to be treated like this you all deserve better. By the way what country is he from? Maybe in his own country he cannot get a girlfriend, and by coming to your town it makes feel more manly. Anyway I wish you good luck in getting much nicer people come to you.
