does dogs dream too?

I have heard that they do dream, and it definitely seems as if my dog dreams some good ones. There are times when he appears to be running with his legs and feet, and there are other times when he also makes silly noises. His little eyes twitch as if he is in R.E.M. sleep that humans experience. Sometimes, his little tongue sticks out of his mouth while he appears to be nibbling on a snack.

ya dogs dreams i also seen my dog dreaming,he barks,licks,etc.it is really funny.

yea dogs (and cats) do dream...my dogs twitch, whimper and sometimes even bark in their sleep...its actually pretty comical....When they whimper/cry though we wake them up briefly and calm them which seems to do the trick...

my dog sometimes act as if he is running in his sleep so i would say yes the do dream
