How long were you (or your significant other) in labor for? did you use any pain relief?
I was in labor for 14 hours, and i had the epidural.

Well, I havent had my baby yet, but with the way he is being a little stinker inside, I can only imagine that my labor is going to be very long. I am already planning on having an epidural though.

Yeah i am very happy i had the epidural!! They gave me something called Nubien (dont know if thats spelled right) a few hours before i had the epidural. I didnt have any back labor thankfully but everytime i had a really strong contraction i would get a pain in my leg as well. So i kept asking them if i could have something cz that leg pain was driving me nuts!! They couldnt give me the epidural yet cz i wasnt dilated far enough yet. When are you due?

Well maybe you will go early, i had everyone trying to make me go into labor lol. my midwife even asked me if i wanted some tips on how to go into labor early lol. he was born 6 days early, so i guess the tips worked haha!!

I have heard way too many stories about how good the epidurals were, so I am doing it. My family keeps asking me if I am sure about that and I tell them yeah why wouldn't I do it. I am hoping that I don't have back labor. I hear that is the worst pain. I am due 11 days from today, but I was really hoping for an October baby.

1st baby-22 1/2 hours with pain meds
2nd baby-18 hours without meds
3rd baby-16 hours with pain meds
4th baby-12 hours with pain meds

it hurt very much. but sooooooo worth it. Of all my children he was the easiest to have. Just a couple pushes and there he was. Didn't think the 1st would ever come out. 3rd got stuck. 4th took his sweet little time.

Awww. My son was turned the wrong way, so they kept rolling me from side to side every half hour or so trying to get him to get into position, after that it was about an hour and he was here =)

I had c-section so I didnt have a labor pain but the pain from the cut, it was very painful. I couldnt laugh, I coulnt walk straight for at least a week, couldnt go use the bathroom for #2, couldnt lay on side to sleep. Im not sure if the labor pain is more painful than c-section though.

One of my best friends has had 3 C-sections. She wanted to have a normal delivery but i guess her babies were just to big. I know she is in some pain this time around.

I was in labor for 27 hours with no pain reliefs since they had to make an injection to provoke pains.

They had to induce me too. My water broke before i started having contractions. So i went to the hospital and they put me in my room then induced me.

She was in labor for a few hours before there were complications and they needed to do a c-section.

One of my best friends was in labor for about 25 hours then they finally realized they were going to have to do a C-section. Another friend had the same problem but she was in ALOT of pain the entire time of labor, then they gave her a C-section
