What I mean is we used to make great signing that turned out to be legends. We now dont seem to have that ability. Any ideas as to who we should sign?

Actually, I feel Liverpool should get a really prolific striker. We used to have great strikers like Ian Rush, John Adridge, Robbie Fowler and even Micheal Owen. I was still hoping that Micheal Owen plays best at liverpool. All areas seem balance except the strike force.
Who in the strike force can we really depend on? Heck! Spend "big" money to get Samuel Eto, he is unhappy but he still score goals. He has a really good track record, expensive but he can create and score as well.

I don't know if owen is the force he used to be - he's too injury prone and personally with the transfer funds we've reported to have (not as much as we had before), i'd rather go for a striker with more potential - kind of like how we're linked to Robinho!

From what I have been reading, are we really sure we have the funds available to buy players. So much promises from the new owners but we are not really seeing the action from liverpool on the transfer market.

Maybe we don't really need prolific and very popular and known players to sign.Maybe we have more youngsters who have great potential but just needed the big break to prove themselves.Torres or Villa could be a great asset to Liverpool upfront but would they be able to cope with the English style of rough play?would these great and known athletes be really valuable in our quest for the premiership?or would they be just another flop?maybe reina is just taking his time on mking his next move.
