I don't know if buy this game. I'm a very big of the Tomb Raider saga and I have all the games, but I was very disappointed when I bought Tomb Raider: Legend, it was too short...
I don't want to spend other money for a game that not worth the price it has, so I want to know if the game is good.

I think that the Legend is adequate. Of course, when we finished the whole game, we hoped the story goes on. More will be better. But when you compare it with the Anniversary one, you are going to doubt if the latter is desighed for those newcomers. It's really too hard. Sometimes You can hardly find the way to go, or the way to solve the puzzle. And every story seems so long that you would forget where you came from and what you did, and what you are going to do if you pause for some time.

I'd have to agree with everyone and say that I was pleased with this remake. I also played the original and Anniversary is a nice tribute to it. Legend did seem short to me as well. I think the game creators were counting on the gamers to spend a lot of time on the time trials and artifacts.

It is a remake of the original Tomb Raider from what I understand...so if you liked the first game (which was the best) then you should enjoy it with the new graphics boost ect. PC GAMER gave the PC version a fairly high rating, but if you are looking for something new and already have the first one then I guess it probably isn't something that should be at the top of the buy list

Well, I hear it's out for the ps2 and I'm gonna get it very soon. I get cheap games from a shop and know the guy and if I don't like it I can return it, so I'm not worried about taking chances. I hear it's like the first ever tomb raider and is supposed to be great as it will be the last one for the ps2.
I too think that legend was a little short, I actually liked angel of darkness better.
Well, as soon as I get it and try it out, I'll let you know what I think.

I bought it, being the die hard Tomb Raider fan that I am, and I can say that I haven't been dissappointed. I played through the original Tomb Raider so many times, I have most of the levels mapped out in my head to this day.
It was a pleasant surprise to revisit these locations as they've been recreated, almost following the same old floor plans, but with subtle updated differences. If you've played the older one, you'll appreciate the new T Rex battle. It's not as easy as the first one. :)
