no it will not be a pope but i do believe he will be the 12 th Imam that the muslims are waiting for it will not be a christian but he will only have power for 7 yrs and we know That he will eventualy be defeated by Christ when he comes to rule the world for 1000 yrs

You think that the muslims will conquer the world? The muslims are violent and who nail the world peace is the pope! Who accept half-worship? The pope. Now see that the bible say that antichrist will go to demand worship.. It is much similirity!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Missak, it's honestly possible. But I really think it's more likely someone in the government is than the pope..it'd make more sense, seeing as it'd be easier and harder to stop that way.

Hi,
It will be a religious! The Bible say that antichrist will go to demand worship. It will create one alone religion(the catholic church is the only church that try join the religions) and one alone currency! Therefore, we understand the Antichrist will be one religious person! And a person of the politics ! We have reasons of surplus to think that will be one Pope...

I believe this thought or idea that a pope would be the antichrist was born from the prophecy of Malachi.

According to this, there is one pope left, who will bring about much pain.
It's kind of hard to believe this on many levels.
For example, I think Ratzinger chose the name "Benedict" to keep the Malachy prophecy alive.
And you know, it's all political, even this discussionon mylot. I mean, if there are people who have a view it just gets to be political

The biblical antichrist isn't a person, but an allegoric figure which represents every religious system that appears to be pious and with the Word on its lips, but in reality is dedicated to mundane ambitions, distracting people from practicing authentic Christianity and following Christ.
Sadly, this can apply to almost any denomination which concentrates in the letter but not in the spirit of God's Word.

I not think this form! Certainly will be a person! Remember that the Devil is a cheap mimic. He want to be like God. In the sky: Father, Son and Hole Spirit. In the Hell: Devil, antichrist and false prophet.
Choose the correct religion; Choose to be with the God'Word.
