What is up with mylot now? I have been responding and starting discussions

I am not having that problem. Could it be your keyboard is acting up? Or maybe there is a little elf in myLot that is messing up things! LOL

well I am responding to your discussion now, and I'm using the ' as you noticed and now I'm gonna write LOL :P can't! or lol'nt! so as you see I have no problems in writing them at all, so I have no idea why is that happeneing to you, but I hope that I was of help.

OH that is weird. I haven't had that problem as of yet. And I used the ' in this post, so we'll see if it lets me. lol I think I used it though in a few other comments I have made so far today.

It hasn't happened to me. I use those contrcations a lot. It's been allowing me do type them. I can't figure out why you aren't allowed. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I have had a few occasions here at mylot in which my post wasn't allowed due to the use of certain "non-standard" characters though rarely the apostrophe. It happened alot when I tried to help some friends with adding text links in their profiles, lol. Mylot doesn't like the keys between the M and the ? in particular. There have been some instances that some of my traffic sites support emails don't work or go thru when an apostrophe is used. In those cases I have had to type the whole words.

This has not happened to me so far. Even today, I have made some posts where I have used the apostrophes etc. But I was able to post and I didn't any face any other problem regarding that. Even in this response also , you can see that I have used the apostrophes. What browser are you using ? I'm using Firefox. Just check ,whether its a problem with your browser ..

You know, I had not noticed that. Guess I'll keep my eyes open for strange things happening. Have a good one.

Oh my Gawd. They yahoo gremlins have followed me here ..lol Thats what we use to put everything down to in yahoo chat when something would happen.Now we have MyLot Gremlins, maybe we need gremlin poison.

You know, occasionally my keyboard changes to an alternate language. That is, I will type an 'e' and it will have an accent on it. When I first set up my new computer that was happening and I had someone come and change the language setting. But sometimes it changes by itself but cures itself on its own too. The last time it happened it only did that in emails. I couldn't use the question mark as I would get some kind of accent instead. If you can figure out how to check the language setting on your keyboard, do that. Or as others said, reboot your computer. Personally, I haven't had any trouble with any posts I have made on here today. Good luck!

Hmmm not having this problem either . Must be a glinch on your end for some reason . I have ansered a few discusions today and not had a problem answering any of them or being able to type what I want . Maybe try shutting your computer down and coming on again or close out the page and try opening a new one and see if this make a difference . Best of luck !!

I've had this happen to me a couple of times before too, and I still don't know why. It seems to happen at the oddest times too. I'm very much like you in that I look at the keyboard when I type and occasionally glance up to make sure that my words are still showing up and that I haven't hit a wrong button or something and not realized lol. It hasn't happened to me in a little while, and so now, just because I'm responding to this discussion, you watch. It'll start happening again LOL.

I haven't had any problem either. But, I noticed this morning it was taking a huge amount of time for my replies to post. Maybe mylots system was having issues or something.

I don't have that problem. did you check your keyboard configuration? Try to reboot your computer.

Well, let me try this and see...as this is my first response to a discussion and haven't posted to any other questions, and don't think I will today, well, let's just see how many contractions we can't get away with.

I haven't noticed this happening to me yet. I have been typing wuite a bit here today but everything seems to be working okay. Is it working okay for you now also? It does seem very odd with that happening. I hope everything is okay for you now. Good luck with it.

Ok, going to have to do some research on this one - I honestly been responding from email notifications and haven't even taken the time to read my response after I've posted it - I will check on this one to see if it's happening to me also :)

I haven't had that problem. It sounds like it might just be a glitch on some of the members. I don't have that happening and I don't think it has happened before but I couldn't really say since I have never really paid any attention maybe that is why because it hasn't happened before.

Might it be your keyboard? You don't happen to be using a radiowave one? I don't think the problem is with myLot. All's fine at my side. :P

That is serious. I never experienced that kind of problemm before. On the contrary i try not to use abbreviations. It seems like you get higher earnings if you don't use the abbreviated forms when responding to discussions. As you can see I just wrote "don't" up there and it actually was accepted by the the system.

That is kind of odd! I've used abbreviations the whole time and haven't quite noticed, but going over my posts - doesn't seem to be anything wrong with them.
