Have you ever used Craiglist?

I've sued it quite a bit. I have both sold and purchased things locally with it, and I actually found my current job while replying to a job on craigslist. It's a decent site to do some basic things, although I wouldn't rely on it for a lot of things. The forums are interesting, too... you can learn a lot of stuff sometimes.

I've used it to buy, sell & look for jobs. I know a guy that found a really great job on there. Just keep hoping I can find one too.

I am a huge craigslister, in fact, I found myLot on craigslist and most of the furniture in my house, not to mention my two wonderful cats that I got from craigslist when I lived in Philadelphia. It is a great resource and most of the time it is free to list.

Gee, I've never used Craiglist but have seen it all over the place doing research and such. After reading this discussion and what others have said I may have to check them out closer.

I've used Craigslist several times. I got a washer and dryer thru the site (I just sold the dryer thru the site, as well). I also got a toddler bed for my son and a sandbox. I've recently sold a stereo, an ice cream maker and a set of stainless steel pots and pans on the site as well. All of my experiences on the site have been positive, although I did have a little trouble with getting someone to mow my lawn. I had 2 different people set up to do it and neither of them showed. Then I posted a listing asking for someone reliable to do my lawn and got someone who came when he said he would and took care of my lawn for a reasonable rate.
