I remember in the Christmas of 2004, my family and I went to Savannah GA, for vacation, stayed there ten days, we were invited to come up there because my wife has a best friend, who lives there, and we are very, very close to them and their family, besides, my wife also went to SCAD there. My experience being from The Bahamas was quite a good one still. It was my first time feeling what twenty something degree weather felt like (Yikes!)so imagine me in the frigid winter of the north east somewhere in Boston or Chicago. But I found Savannah to be a very soothing, relaxing city, and if I ever get the chance to live in the good ole U.S of A, This is one city I can definately be very comfortable in, and I didnt even get a chance to hit River Street. The people were friendly, the scenery was nice, the food was great, so much till, as an aspiring writer, one of my manuscripts story will be based there, well, at least it would give me an excuse to visit there again, of course, i have to do research for my book right? Though I havent frequented many US cities, here is my top to bottom list rating of the cities in the US i've been to, the best at number 1 and the worse at the end. 1: Savannah, GA., my daughter's name is Savannah also, this is my number one city, well, at least till I visit a few more that would give some artistic competion. 2:West Palm Beach; loved the scenery and it was wuite nice to feel like you on a different Island. 3:Columbia, South Carolina, visited here during my ten day stay in Savannah, it was nice. 4:Atlanta GA, WOW! this is a Bustling city, not one to go to if you want a quiet vacation in my book, but its nice, my sister in law lives here so, every red moon,(HA) we probably will visit here. 5:Santa Ana , CA: Cant say too much for this, we were at a church conference when we were here so didnt do too much sight seeing. 6: Fort Lauderdale, FL. - This is my relax destination, my shopping destination, and where I frequent the most, so its kinda like home. 7: Miami, FL. No I didnt go to Star Island, or the beach, but this city is way too congested for me, with its road rage, and accidents every day, and whatever else im not remembering right now, but my experience is borderline every time im here, especially when im on 20th street, where i go to shop for essentials for the kids, at least thats a positive!
