What movie do you kids watch over and over and over. . .?

Do your children want to watch the same movie over and over again? Does the movie drive you nuts? Back around Christmas, my kids watched High School Musical non-stop! I do enjoy the movie and I love when they sing along and dance too. I suppose they could have picked something that drove me insane. There were some videos/DVDs they watched when they were a little younger that did drive me crazy, but at least those movies were only 1/2 hour - not feature length. Care to share your children's favorite movies?

My daughter loved the Little Mermaid. She would watched that movie four times and still ask to see it again. Now, she is grown she can't stand the movie.

Oh my word. . .I think I could recite the Little Mermaid line for line a year or so ago. My daughter wanted to watch it every day at least once, usually more!

my young nephew and nieces used to always want to watch Lion King. I like lion king myself but after about twenty times it starts to grate a little, especiallly when they keep wanting to watch certain parts over and over.

We went through the Lion King phase with my son. Then we got Lion King 1 1/2 and Lion King 2. He switched between all three of them for awhile so it wasn't so annoying!

Spiderman - Spiderman the most amazing movie of the year.
Childrens like to watch the cartoon shows and spiderman/superman kind of films over and over again. Other kinds of movie they are not interested.

My two year old son watches cars over and over again. He calls it his ningning because of course ne can't say lightning yet. At first it was really cute that he liked it so much. Then it was good because I could put it in for him and get my housework done and then it just got to when I could recite almost every sentence in the movie and it have to go. I got him toy cars from the movie and other things with cars on them for his room so the withdrawl wasn't to bad. He's getting along good now. when he eats he mentions his ningning plate, cup and spoon but he dosen't run around with the dvd case in his hands any more.

One of my little one's is obsessed with Dora and has so many of the Dora movies and at times it feels this is the only thing on the t.v . Now I love Dora as I feel she teaches the children a lot but sometimes it gets pretty bad when someone comes over and I can recite all the songs or know what is going to happen in everyone one of the movies because my daughter has her on all the time lol . By the way , one of my older daughters was obssesed with the movie High School Musical . It was a really good movie but I would have got tired of watching it all the time as well , in her case it wasn't so bad because she watched it upstairs in her room all the time :)

My son watches The Lion King over and over and over. He is 12 now and seems to be getting out of that habit. He is more into riding his bike and playing with friends on our street. He likes to be outside more now than he did when he was younger, so the movie thing is kind of out of the picture right now.

Oh yes, my grandson (pictured on the left) comes over 3 times a week and has to watch curious george movie the whole time he is there. I used to sit for him and it was the same movie all day long. It got to where I knew word for word what was being said. Now that I got him a game boy for Easter that is all I here but at least it is more then 1 noise. hugs

I have a two and three year old, both girls. They are absolutly obsessed with Shark Boy and Lava Girl. I have to barter with them. " If you eat all of your carrots, you can watch the movie!" How rediculous is that. I really don't mind it that much, it's actually a cute movie. The only thing is it is all about a little boys dreams, and I don't want them to get to caught up in a dream world. For now imagination is a good thing though, right? If I refuse them that movie then it is Lazy Town Heroes. Very Annoying. Good idea, there's alot of excersize, and helping others, and other good lessons. Just the screaming and wild music gets my kids all pumped. Then there is no stopping them. They dance around the house, doing flips and singing vegtable songs!

Everytime they get a new movie my girls watch it over and over again. They had borrowed High School Musical from a friend and got hooked on it. Then on a snow day before Christmas they showed it at school. I swallowed hard and smiled but didn't say anything because I knew the DVD was in their Christmas Eve box. The reaction my teenager gave for receiving that movie was the most excited I have ever seen her. They watched it over and over again. And since we also got them a karaoke machine for Christmas, they can watch the movie and sing along with the songs. When they got Benchwarmers they watched that over and over again as well. If they rent a movie or take one out at the library they will try and squeeze in as many viewings as possible before they have to return it.

My 5 year old will watch the same movie for a good week before moving on to another. Thankfully, it's only a week. My eldest would watch the same movie for months at this age. One of the ones that he was fixated on was a Barney one, I never cared for Barney & after weeks & weeks of it I was ready to light it on fire or toss it in the garbage disposal.

That is funny that you mentioned High School Musical because or dish was down for about 3 days and all my daughter would watch was High School Musical. We went threw this at Christmas time also when it was really popular, but now she is back on the kick:) The kids I babysit have been watching The Cat In The Hat for the past 3 days....I think it is going to disappear tonight.

My girls go through phases, but I would have to say the two most played movies in my house are Cinderella Story (Hilary Duff) and SleepOver! They play the same movies for about a week and then will pick another one and watch it straight for a week. I've also seen Charmed Season 1 more than a zillion times!
