Cats aren't like dogs in that respect. If you kick your cat...if You hurt your cat, your cat is going to be scared of you. Not like a dog that you smack and then the dog wants you to love them still. Not saying that just one kick will make your cat scared of you... but when your cat doesn't want to be bothered you shouldn't bother them. If your cat does scratch you, you also shouldn't kick or hurt your cat because then again, they'll grow to learn that you = hurt.
My cat gets mad at me and will swipe at me and then try to continue getting me because he's mad. However, he's learned that if I point at him and say "No!" then he knows not to do that. We'll go our separate ways and later my cat and I will make up.
You just gotta give your cat time. Food and/or treats might also help to get the cat back in...but don't kick her anymore.

Cats a re very tempermenatl and maybe at that moment it might not have wanted to be bothered. All you can really do is wait it out and let your cat come to you.

Try to feed your cat then try to touch her head and make a movement backward..Definitely, she will appreciate you right after that.. when she knows that you are taking care of her, then she won't hurt you anymore..except when she feels like to play.. I used to play with my cat and when she grabbed my hand, he tried to bite me..but when I don't move, she'll release me from her mouth... You should try also on cuddling your cat... it makes them more comfortable... ;)
