Do you believe soda makes you fat?

I have some friends says that soda makes you fat...I don't know why they said like that,but when I look their weight and body there some kind of big.How about you do you believe soda makes you fat?Do you think there is scientific explanation to that?Can you share it to me?

Yes i believe its true. Becaue when you drink soda you can get lots of calories and our body needs only a little bit of calories not much. ASk a guy who is fat and you will tell that he drink soda. I drink soda thats also reason i become fat.
