Favorite Video Game Villain

As the topic says, name your favorite video game villain and tell why. Me personally, my all time favorite is Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. He was just sweet and wielded a seven foot sword. Come on now, what isn't cool about that? So, list your favorite villain and give a good reason. Gracias.

MY favorite villain is Jon Irenicus, from the Baldur's Gate 2 game. He was an elf wizard who tried to drain the power of some sort of Holy Elven Tree, and had his sould removed from him as punishment. That's cool, an elf that is not a hippie.

I don't think I've ever heard of that game or villain. Sounds interesting, I'll definitely look into it now.
