I would love to hear what your dog's nickname is. I can tell you a little about how my dog received his name. When I adopted him, I noticed that he had an underbite which often caused his lower, left fang to hold his upper lip upwards. He would often appear to be snickering at people, and therefore, I named him Sir Snickers Alot. Here are a few of his other nicknames (I am posting them at the risk of appearing crazy, I know): Snickey, Teenlebee, Fuzzlebee, Sweetie Petite, Porky Choppy, Barklebee, Stinky, Baby Viciousness, Baby Preciousness, Chitlin Beans, Cuddlebean, Beats (he likes to walk the beat), and Coots. What are your dog's nicknames?

Well, I call both my dogs Scuggy when I want them to come to me. My mom calls my dog Sherlock, Sure (sher), but she doesn't have a nickname for Leon.

Hi! my dogs names was my son's courtesy, when we adopted our first doggie we ask him if what he want us to call our little doggie and he think a bit and tell us that he want to call her chose, its because before he used to call the shoes as chose he's so young then and cant pronounce the words well, and when we have the second doggie, still my son give the name and his name is shadow because we have this dog on night and he place this little doggie near the light and he saw the shadow of the dog, that's a brief history why we called our dogs shadow and chose.

we have shih tzu's the first one is called GIZMO as he looked like the movie Gizmo and the second shih was REGGIE..as the breeder called him that when he was born.. dog's learn their name very early in life and sometimes when our dog appears to be sleeping we spell out his name..but if we say his name he wakes up and looks around..this is very funny to me..just like a child.
