Firefox icon disappeared from desktop?

Hi has anyone out there had this happen to them? My firefox icon just vanished from my desktop after i had gone online to check my e-mails..it has since been rebooted on mnay occasions but still no icon...any ideas???

I would say go ahead and put a new desktop icon and go to the program directly. That's about the only thing I could think of possibly. That is strange as I have never heard of that one before.
