How will Rick testify if he can't remember shooting Grant?

Brooke said she could testify to that. Wait a minute, I haven't seen today's episode yet. It's on tape as I had a dentist appointment so I don't really know what happened. But I think the only way he could testify was to remember and the only way for that to happen is if he would agree to go under hypnosis.
