Do You Wear Contact Lenses?

i wear contact lenses sumtimes. it is awkward putting them in even tho i dont mind things goin near my eyes. if u have put them in right i cannot feel them at all

I have contact lenses. It look a long time in the beginning to get used to put something into your eyes. But after a week or so it worked well for me. I have been using lenses for 3 years now.

I would DIE without my contacts. I have been wearing them for over 15 years. Glasses are bulky and they give me a huge headache. If you have a choice between the two and you can tolerate the contacts, they are a much better choice. After I Switched from glasses to contacts my perscription did not much (stopped changing after 3 years of wearing them) because of less strain on the eye. Bad thing is, people who wear contacts for many years have problems wearing glasses when they hgave to because they are use to their ocrrective lense being directly on their eye.

I do wear them. They do not bother me, I have never felt them in my eyes. When I first got them I had hard lenses which need to be removed, cleaned, soaked, and rinsed before being put back in. So my first night I get them out okay, but in the morning it was a different story. I accidently rinsed them in a acid based cleaner and tried to put them in. My eyes swelled up til I couldn't open them. Terrible!

I don't wear it but my fiance wear it for 15 years..and I think he finds no difficulty as they are SOft contact lenses..

you get used to putting them in overtime, everyday things like that become almost like as nautral as eating, i used to where them but i found some sexy glasses so i dont need them

i wear contact lenses. in fact, i prefer lenses to glasses. putting the lenses in your eyes is pretty easy. it just takes practice.

Hi Victoria. I am very much like you in not being able to open my eyes under water. I also have trouble putting drops in my eyes and am so finiky even hearing people talk about eye operations etc. How ever I needed contact lenses to correct a growth on my eye. It was either that or surgury. I chose the contact lenses. After they gave me a lesson on how to put them in (which they do when you by contact lenses) the first time was scary , but after that I could do it with out even a mirror . It is not a big deal once you have done it once.You can feel them if your eyes get dry but they have tears in a bottle to ease that, other than that I don't even know they are there.

I have been wearing contacts for 25 years. It doesn't take long to get used to them. Once they are on your eye you cannot feel them. It takes practice just like anything else. If I get an eyelash or something in my eye when I have my contacts in, that hurts. I hurry and get my lense out or the tears will wash whatever out.

I wear contacts most of the time and glasses when I don't feel like putting them in. As far as putting in the contacts, it isn't that bad once you get the hang of it. You really only touch the whites of your eyes and never the iris or pupil, so it doesn't feel that bad.

nope ...they irritate my eyes really really bad...i think ppl should just stick to tha old school glasses...

YES - I wear contact lenses. I have been using glasses almost all my live so beginning to wear contact lenses was a big releaf, I felt i got more freedom, an was more able to doo sports without beeing afraid of getting a ball in my head. I have been using lenses for about 3 years, to begin with it was very difficult for me to put them in but I got used to it, Now I would not live without them. Mostly I don't feel a thing when I wear them, but when my eyes are tired I can feel them, so at home in the evenings I mostly wear glasses.
