Unclaimed 25 Million Lotto Win!

Yesterday, someone local won 25 Million dollars in X lotto. This person hasn't come forward & made a claim.
As the lotto ticket was purchased from a well known news agency, that is only about a 10 minute drive from me, we are all assuming that it is a local person.
Ade;laide may seem kind of big, but to local suburbs, there are still a lot of people who know people...
We are all holding our breath to find out who won this 25 million dollars.
Hope this person saved his lotto ticket, as apparently he/she didn't register with the lotto agency.
I wish it was me!! Even one 25th of this amount would be nice.

Some people need a day, week or longer to come to terms with the fact that they won such a large sum of money. My luck would be that I purchased a ticket and lost it.

it just dumbfounds me when people don't claim prizes like that.i suppose it could be somebody elderly that's currently ill or something.
although,i'd be almost scared to come forward and claim it.all my distant relatives would come out of the woodwork LOL
i hear you though.even a 25th would be something nice.

It's quite shocking how much money is never claimed their winnings. My gosh I could really do with some of that right now - well expect that most of us could really! Am gagging for a week in the sun just to forget about the bills and just spend quality time with my boyfriend!! :0)

Jennybianca stop looking it mine all mine. Okay maybe not seeing Ive never been to Adelaide but gee to dream. I agree 25million is alot maybe even to much. But enough the next house repayment and buy some new shoes would be nice. lol When was it?

That happens here in the US too. It is sometimes days before anyone comes forward and claims it. I often wonder why...maybe they don't sit glued to the tv when the numbers are drawn or maybe they had a heart attack.lol. I think that last one would be me if I ever won that much money.

Congrats Jenny for at least dreaming for 25th part of total amount. This will be enough really if I also win. If that person is lucky then he/she will definitely come to claim at Lotto. Unfortunately I am not that person. Sometimes it happens. If someone is god-gifted poor then no means can help. We will be living a life of poor person. Let us pray to God to help that guy so that he/she may get the won amount before expiry of claim.

Hello,jennybianca,i have not checked the nsw lottery website and i am not sure whether someone had claimed the prize at this moment.May be the winner had been away from hom and not able to check the ticket yet,I think no one will leave 25 million and chuck the ticket without checking it.I think the bigggest unclaimed prize was like 500000 long times ago.
