Today I got the munchies and headed over to the Subway for a sandwich. I chose the sandwich of the day which was the turkey breast. I chose Italian herbs and cheese bread and when asked if I wanted it toasted I had to take a minute to choose. I ended up not toasting this time around. I can't figure out which way I like a sandwich better, toasted or untoasted.

I am a hard core fan of toasted. At subway, I always get the parmesan bread and either Italian BMT or Cold Cut sandwich. For some reason, i never have tried subways toasted because the ones I have seen come out, merely look hot, not toasted. When I go to Quizno's, which is my ultimate favorite, I get the Rosemary bread (.40 cents extra). I always ask them to put it thru twice because I like my sandwich crispy. They always give me a hard time about it, but I assure them that I like it burnt. It's only burnt a little bit around the edges, but the cheese if finally melted and the bread does taste crunchy. I don't mind a bit burned. When I tried it only run thru the oven once, I did not enjoy the sandwich at all.

I prefer my sandwiches toasted. I hardly ever go to Subway because if I do I would spend quite a bit of time deciding. However I usually choose the seafood sandwich with lots of olives and green peppers on it, and the sauce a little on the hot side.
