I live in an old farm house and on the ground floor of my house there are 5 entrance. It's really rather strange. Why did they need all of those doors? I don't know if this qualifies me as a redneck or hillbillie or just lazy but when I go grocery shopping I pull the car right up to the front door. Please don't think I am lazy I live 30 mile from the nearest wal-mart and I only og shopping once a month for 9 people. It's just a lot of groceries. There is one door that I am scared by. It;s a door that leads to a small porch area that is falling down I am afrid that one of the kids will go out there and I will fall with them on it.

the house i'm living in right now only has one entrance. which i really hate. i would rather have 2 entrances in a house for safety reason. in case of emergency, at least you won't be trapped in the house. you still have another option of exit.

My house has one way entrance, in fact it is more secure.
But in your case, it doesn't matter for the two ways entrance. nowadays there are a lot of devices get the houses more sequre.

My house has two entrances, but i don't like this too much because the backside door is in front of an abandoned dark building and i am always scared of entering in from that way... anyway my main entrance is on the Arno river, i love that river it's so romantic and, above all, my main entrance is in front of an ice-cream dealer lol.

There are actually four ways to get into my house. I personally like going in the back door. It's just where everyone usually enters the house. If we don't enter one back door, we enter the other. The side door is only used in some cases, as well as the front door. I definitely prfer the first back door entrance because it's more open and inviting than any of the other entrances.

There are three entrances in and out of my house. The front door, the back door and my daycare door. We keep all three doors locked all the time unless we are running inside and outside for something. We have an alarm system on our house, so we know when any of the doors open.

There are actually 3 ways that you can get into my house. We have the traditional front door which we hardly use. Then we have a door threw our garage which is our main door. It goes right into the mud room, so I even ask guests to come in threw that door. We also have a sliding glass door to our back deck. I use this door when out on the deck or at the pool.

We have a one way entrance. Two way entrance in our city and probably in our colony is not seen yet. Some may have it, but I dont know. YOu truly said that two way entrance may bring danger, as it more silent at the backside and no one to take care of. So its better not to have an entrance at the backyard/backside.

The house we are renting right now has two entries . One that we use all the time and another one at the bottom of the stairs in case there was a fire but there is no entry for the basement which I would have liked to have because if you ever needed to get out of the basement you wouldn't be able to .
We just bought a house and it has four different entries and I love this idea . When I was younger I woke up to our house on fire and we had to get out , since then this has always been a big fear of mine that there should be a way to get out of any place that you are in , in the case of a fire , that one is not trapped in a room somehow . I love the fact that we will have so many different ways of getting in and out of the house and because we will be living in such a quiet area where nothing ever happens I don't feel the reason to be nervous about this such as one who would live in the city or in a high crime area .

My house has three entrances. A front door, a back door and a garage door. Our back yard has a 6 ft. privacy fence and we keep the gate locked at all times because we don't want our dogs to get out of the yard when they are out there. The garage entry is safe because you have to have the garage door opener to get in the garage. I feel pretty safe around my house.

I have two, I usually use the front entrance though as it is safer for my daughter the back garden gate backs onto some garages and sometimes people speed up there like there life depends on it lol. I know where you are coming from in respect to the danger aspect but then in case of a fire I think it woudl be a good thing as at least you have two escape routes, and reguarding danger and criminals I worry more about my windows to be honest as that is usually how they get in and I must say I am a bit neurotic about ensurig they are all safely locked before I leave the house even to go across teh road to take and collect my daughter from school.
