ideals

I've met people that I thought were my ideal, and every one of them turned out to be wrong for me in the end. Which only goes to prove that apparently I don't have a clue what is best for me. I've learned not to judge by ideals, and instead to take each person as they come and just let things be what they are supposed to. Had I been told as a teenager who I would end up with, and what they would be like, I would have laughed like crazy. My husband is nothing like I would have chosen had I been going by my "ideal". And yet, we are very happy, and I am very glad that I have him. =)
