Do you prefer 3 large meals a day, namely breakfast, lunch and dinner with tea/coffee/milk in between or do you prefer "grazing",which is munching on snacks or fruits all day long?I find that I am a stickler for the 3 large meals a day but sometimes when I have nothing to do just munch on junk food all day. What about you?

I usually gaze all day long and sit down to eat an actual dinner but6 usually that is the only meal I will eat in one day. I do have my coffee in the morning but nothing to eat with it but maybe a breakfast bar and for lunch most of the time I just have a little salad the rest of the day I am usually munching on popcorn, cheese or energy bars.

Energy bars are good for on-the-go people but it should not become the only meal you have.It is good that you have atleast one main meal a day.I have see people who can eat just chips or fries all day!scary..

Actually my parents always stress the omportance of eating three meals a day with as few snacks as possible but I cannot really maintain that schedule. It is good that you continue to maintain this schedule.

That is good.It is good if one can take healthy snacks instead of chips and crisps but with all supermarket shelves carrying the same stuff all over, one tends to get easily carried away,me included:)

Hello, nageswari,i will always have snacks in between the normal meals,i think the healthiest eating habit is 3 meals per day without too much snacks in between as they may affect your appetite and disgestion.
WHen i am in front of the computer,i will have chocolates or cheese cake as snacks, may be that is why i have gained some weight these days because i have been in front of the computer quite often these days.

Hey Easy888,I agree totally,my father always says that 3 main meals are good with as few snacks as possible.I do find that when I take 3 main meals, then I tend to snack a lot lesser than when I take lighter meals. And sitting at the computer has contributed to some weight gain for me too:)but computer is so hard to resist..:)

2 meals. I don't eat breakfast.. not just that I don't have time since I'm a lazy head and I wake up late, but also I don't have any appetite to eat breakfast at all. Sometimes my head hurts if I force myself to eat my breakfast. Don't know why. ,

I have had a few friends who don't eat breakfast either. But they perhaps are more stronger than me..I get migraines if I don;t eat breakfaast..that is strange that you get a headache if you force yourself to eat.But as long as you feel fine,I don;t think you need to force food into your mouth just because it is said to be good for your health.:)

i tend to graze during the day and have a large meal in the evening. I tend not to want a lot of food during the day

Especially if you are busy at work, then you don;t really have time for elaborate meals.and grazing does not make one too hungry either:)

I used to have 3 meals a day for breakfast, lunch and dinner but now since I have a family of my own. I skipped large meal for breakfast....instead we'll have light breakfast....such a bread with fried eggs/ beef slices or jam and fruit. And have tea/coffee break with cakes/cookies in between....
