What makes you smile?

We live in a very complicated and busy world. We are so engrossed with our own lives that sometimes we fail to stop, look around and smell the roses. I do admit being busy with my own life and that of family. However, there are times that I would smile or laugh for no apparent reason. I think of my pets latest antics and I would smile despite being in the middle of a meeting or working on a paper. I would smile whenever I would see children playing in the rain. How about you? What makes you smile or even laugh?

Yes,Ismell the roses sometimes and see the skies and wish upon a star.Very simple and petty things makes me smile.Even funny ones too, sometimes lovely and funny memories makes me smile as well an sweet surprises from the person I deeply love.

Funny and loving memories are something that cannot be taken from us. That's why we cherish those precious memories we have of our loved ones. :) Sweet surprises are definitely a boon. I do love surprises. :)

I know this may sound cliche`, but the things that make me smile are: baby chickens, little kittens, and roses (yes, actual roses). I live on a farm and there is nothing so happy as a flock of baby chicks peeping and chirping as the scratch the ground and dig through the leaves. Nothing bothers them, they are just so happy all the time. It makes me happy every time I see them. Plus I have 9 cats, and they always make me smile. They love to help me when I am doing my writing (I'm an author) and they sit on my papers and crumple up my papers and chase my pens across the floor, or sleep on my notebooks. They are always purring and bubbleing over with happiness. And I have a rose garden, so I literaly do lots of smelling roses. LOL!

I can definitely relate to your comment. I enjoy going to my father's farm and see my nephews and nieces' chase the chickens and chicks. :) I do envy the laid back lifestyle of your home. I can already imagine the chicks, your 9 cats and your rose garden. :)

What makes me smile??......hmmm.........actually I feel at the top of the world when my girlfrnd gives me a kiss on her cellphone bcz currently she is in different city and we cann't meat each other but love each other very very very much.

There are several things that make me smile. When ever im done work I always smile because im so happy that work is over for the day and I can go home and post on my lot lol. Getting a check every week puts a smile on my face because it was a hard earned check that I worked hard for and I deserve it and babies make me smile everytime I see a baby where I work I cant help but to smile at him or her because there just so addorable to look at.

Like you, I am happy whenever I received my paycheck every Saturday. :) It gives me satisfaction that I am being compensated for my hard work. Yes, babies are very adorable. They also lightens my mood whenever I see them. :)

When I remember something funny, I suddenly smile. Also if I see some friends along the way while on the street or somewhere else I smile at them. When i see also some funny and lovable babies, I'd love to smile at them, and of course, when my loved ones,like my children or my husband please me, I would smile at them too. Surprises also make me smile, I love surprises you know.

What makes me smile? Uhhhmmm.... when I think of someone so special to my heart and when I look at her pictures in my PC, I smile... she may be a reason for my being happy... and I love that someone so much, mestr!

There are few things that really makes me smile. The cute and innocent things that my youngest child was doing. esp when I put some facial mask in my face taht really scares my 2 year old daughter and scream that my face is missing. We really cant help but laugh with it. Those innocent acts of my child make me smile without fail.

Children do make me smile, but apart from that there are many other things which make me smile. Nature and mountains makes me smile. But, beyond all these things there is one more thing which makes me smile all the time. That's the inner happiness. The happiness in my heart, whenever I connect with it, in the most terrible situations, I am able to smile.
