what shall u do if ur prof. in english keeps on repeating wrong pronunciation?

this is not actually to critisize teachers in general... my only concern is that i have often encountered teachers pronuncing wrong words in english...it is only acceptable once hence we are not perfect but what if he/she keeps repeating it the wrong way...share ur thoughts with me....

I think we have to inform the teacher with utmost courtesy for it would be more embarrassing if more people would hear more so because he is an English teacher or professor? In college? It's really embarrassing if in already in college. But be polite in showing the mistake.

well i encountered that when i was in college, my professor was an ilocano,so he pronounce english with an ilocano accent. well i have no problem with that i really understand him, he is very intelligent but the problem is, he cannot pronounce english very well.

great query :) actually, i'm an english teacher and good pronunciation which should be clear and correct is the most significant skill we need to posses. I agree that a few mistakes is acceptable but if the teacher often makes mistakes, i think that he/she should be informed and corrected in a nice way. this is crucial to prevent further embarrassment in the future. you can put it as constructive criticism. :)
