When your little kids need hair cut, do u do it yourself or salon do it for you?

My teenage daughter and I usually get our hair trimmed together at a salon at least once every month or two. I give her the freedom to choose her own hairstyle, but she insists that I decide for her all the time. My 11 year old son and my fiance get their haircut together too at the salon every month. My son chooses his own hair cut. Meanwhile, I cut my 3-year old baby girl's hair myself. I have tried to convince her to have her hair cut together with me and her sister at the salon but she refuses to let anyone else to touch her hair.

I have three kids. My stepson gets his hair cut my his mom. Then I cut my son and daughters hair. My mom used to cut hair when she was much younger and has taught me just enough to be able to cut my own kids hair, so I can save money. Where I live it is $10 just for a trim and $8.00 to buzz cut my sons hair. So being able to cut my own kids hair saves me $18.00.

I dont have kids.But when I was one,I dont remember my mother cutting my hair.As long as my memory is right it always used to be the barber.Even in the case of my younger sister.The only time my mother cut her hairs down was recently when sister was not keeping her hairs clean or dry always.My mom beacme angry and cut down her hair.

Well if I had a little girl or boy there is no way I would cut there hair my self because I have no idea how to cut hair and I wouldnt want to ruin there hair and make them get fun of for getting a bad hair cut so I would bring them somewhere to have it done since there profssionals and know what there doing.

i don't have kids but when my siblings and i were still small rascals. my mother used to send us to a professional haircutter. my fathe once tried to cut our hair then. it was good though but all of us got the same haircut. it was a memory to be cherished to. but if i would be a parent someday, i guess i would send my kids to a salon. i am not good with scissors... :)
