Curfew ...

What do you guys think of curfew from the cities? I live in Long Beach, California and the curfew set for our youth aged 16 and under is 10pm to 5am. Do you think that it is a bit early or is it fair? The curfew I set out for my daughter was 12am--I know that she is responsible and I trust her--then I heard about this. I know that there are exceptions, but it is summer now. Just wondering what you guys think?

Well the curfew IS for 16 and under, right? What are kids that young doing out that late? Granted, 16 years of age is the normal age that kids begin dating, but they've just gotten their licenses, do you really want them out driving late? Why would your 14 or 15 year old be out that late by themselves, anyway?? I think that curfew is fine for 16 and under. If it was 18 and under, that would be way too strict. It's 11pm for kids 17 and under in my city.

The curfew in my house for kids is 9:30 PM to I think 5 AM. I think 9:30 PM is a little too early. I would expect atleast 11 PM. Well, we can't always get what we want.
