Staff discounts where you work!

Do you get staff discount where you work and if so how much and do you use it often? My wife gets 5% discout at Woolworths Supermarket which also allows her to buy at Big W variety store and she gets 4 cents off fuel prices at Woolies petrol....yet a friend I know gets %25 discount working at Virgin megastore, certainly is a good discount compared to my wife!

I work for a municipality and people who have benefits can get discounts on a lot of things like computers. But, because I am an hourly employee, I don't get any of these things. I do think I can get discount tickets to ball games, though.

4 cents off fuel prices is really cool! That would be awesome. At the craft store I work at I actually get a 30% discount, which is amazing! Lol it is awesome and I use it very often!

I am self-employed, so don't get any discount at all.
I kind of like the one your wife gets rather than the Virgin Megastore 25% one.
With your wife, she can buy things that she uses all the time, such as milk, bread, rocky road ingredients, toasters, kettles & all sorts of things.
With the virgin megastore discount, there are only so many things you can purchase from a shop like that without running out of things to buy.

thats what I hate about where I work which is stop and shop we get no disscounts and it sucks I know a lot of people that work there could save a lot on there food it seems like every other place the employees get disscounts but us and I would love to have disscounts and save on food now that would be nice.
