I have one answer to this GET YOURSELF A MAC!!!!! It saves a lot of heart ache. I never get a virus! Once you get over the different things between Mac and PC you will love it!

Alternatively, if you're like me and don't have the money to throw away to buy a Mac, switch to Linux! It installs on your PC, and not only will you never have to worry about viruses and spyware again, it's much more secure and doesn't crash continuously like Windows does. And if you REALLY want a Mac, you can even make Linux look like a Mac! It's HIGHLY customizeable, and best of all, you can download it for FREE from the internet! I made the switch over a year ago, and haven't looked back since!

The thing about the internet is that there are always viruses out there and it is just a matter of time before you catch one. That is why it is so important to have agood and solid antivirus software running on your computer all the time and to make sure it is aleays updated. Make sure you do regular scans also to root out the viruses. I am sorry for your loss.

deep freeze instantly protects and preserves baseline computer configurations. no matter what changes a user makes to a workstation, simply restart to eradicate all changes and reset the computer to its original state- right down to the last byte. expensive computer assets are kept running at 100% capacity and technical support time is reduced or eliminated completely. the result is consistent trouble-free computing on a truly protected and parallel network, completely free of harmful viruses and unwanted programs.
while deep freeze provides bulletproof protection, its non-restrictive approach also improves user productivity and satisfaction. placing no restrictions on a user's ability to access all system resources, users avoid the frustration of downtime due to software conflicts, operating system corruption, virus attacks, and many other problems. users are always assured of computers that are consistently operable and available.

I don't think I've ever had a bad virus, but I do think my computer is "sick" and infected with something. It, too, is very slow. I need to take it to someone and get it cleaned up. I don't understand people who put viruses on the web. They must be sick themselves.

its really frustrating that we get virus from websites and the second thing is the anti virus we use do not clean up the virus. even i had faced this problem initially when i was using Norton anti virus, since 2 years i am using McAfee and never faced any virus problem. its automatic update feature keeps the software up to date. whenever a virus is found it will automatically scan the effected file and scan it. if file cannot be quarantined it will delete the whole file so that the virus will not effect other files

My computer has gotten viruses tons of times.
I had to restore my computer several times after getting a virus. I don't understand why somebody would create a virus to destroy somebody else's computer. I would never want to make somebody else's life difficult.

Nowadays it's quite easy to have computer virus even if you have anti-virus software. It's a very annoying problem. I think most people's computers have computer virus, but some don't know it and some virus haven't given them attack yet.

Lots of times but when i was like new to my computer. I did head this word virus but never thought of they would be attacking the computer so easily and swiftly. But those were old times now it's just harder for viruses to even enter into my computer. I am totally equipped and ready to kick them out.
