too close for comfort ?

when dancing whit some one you just met ? at adance or do you get closer than close ? ......i mpretty shy so think even if some one asked me to dance i would politely dance....d lol but it someshow but when it comes to getting close to a person ifed a little uncomfortable and you re apparently been hurt befor or at the very least you have afeas of being hurt or abandondoneel angin hard to tell is this close for comfort ? should i go for it what well you said she is shy and said istallking to you it.
