Do you like to make friends online , and do you think it is easy to make a new friend for you ?Making friends is a nice thing and I love to make new friends.
but in real life , I think Its hard for me to make a first move to make friends, as to some extend, I am shy.
I find my mother can make friends that quick. she start to talk a person and chatted for long time then they introduce themselves and thats start of good friendship .
I feel a little self-contempt to make friends in real life, but now I can make lots of friend online, and it is no problem for me.
I think I found a good way to get new frineds.
and now most of my new friends are online friends.
but I also have some good old friends who are my real friends.
what about you ?
if it is easy to get a friend for you online or in real life ?

I think making friends via the net is easy, perhaps easier than in the real life. As to a true friend, no matter you know them online or in real life, it needs the time to test it:)

For me it is much easier making frineds online. I can actively seek out grousp of people who ahve the same interests as me whether they live near me or not. I can communicate with a much larger variety of people online, and it is much easier to deal with any issues that might come up by walking away from the computer and coming back later. In real life I'm horribly shy and have trouble talking to, or even being near, other people. I don't have to face that problem online.

Surprisingly, it is harder for me to make friends online. In person, I'm not very shy when it's time for meeting new people. But for online friends, I think I lost my interests in them easily since we hardly know each other. Of course, it is also up to your definition of "friends." If making friends means that you talk/e-mail/write to them regularly then making friends online is really easy. On the other hand, if making friends to you is like finding someone who can connect with you and share everything that's going on in your life with, then I think it is definitely harder to find a true friend like that...it'll be almost like you guys are penpal.
