Once in a while I run into this lady who basically gets on the bus with a bare face and alight with a face fully made-up. I find it so weird to see her putting on her foundation, blusher, eyeliner, mascara and lipstick - all with one hand holding a small mirror!! I don't know to be in awe or to be totally turn-off.
What do you think?

Well, If we don't know how to managed our time..we go cramming doing things in wrong place and time. It maybe unethical but some times it's excused regardless of the reason I think. But frankly I never do that like doing all that stuff, some times I tried putting a lip stick while in bus because I am for an interview but that's all and not completely make over like I bought a pouch with complete set of make up kit., It's very shame on public place to do this. Thanks for the post though it's 1 year ago..I found it interesting my friend.

From an etiquette standpoint, one really shouldn't apply anything beyond lip color or gloss in public. However, I must say that I am in awe of anyone who can manage to do full make-up while on a bus; that is truly impressive.

i think most likely that lady is always running late so that just to make the bus she has to forego putting on make up at home and just do it on her way to work. . .
of course, the only solution for that is for her to wake up earlier than usual. . . but then, to each his own. ..

I totally agree with you. Such a situation could be really an awful one. But I think wearing make-up in public wash-rooms is ok

she is probably running late on those days. i know that i always saw girls in highschool putting there face on during first block. The teacher gave up and trying to stop them from doing it. i think that as long as they do it in a timely appropriate manner. once in a while is okay. everyday? no thanks. get up a bit earlier and put it on at home.
