Wow thanks for those schools you shared. Now I know I can find a Notre Dame in Dadiangas too. I did not know this. I know someone from Notre Dame of Cotabato. Are they related?

Yes i've studied in private schools (P.Gomez was the only public school i attended) But I don't (or rather my parents) really care if the school is public or private as long as it has a good reputation and educators. And also these schools are close to our house. ^_^ We transfer houses frequently that's why I attended quite a few schools. Maybe my parents just wanted me to attend a good school near our house, regardless if it's a public or private school. ^_^

I is much better to go to the nearest school which is has good reputation too for practical reasons. Parents also want their children to make it a point that their kids would not be left behind. Thanks for sharing. God bless!

You are lucky to have free education from public schools. Am I right? Are public schools in your place free? In our place there are public schools that are not free because it is subsidized. But most public of elementary and high schools are free.

For Elementary, it was Bregy Elementary School in Philadelphia (this was the 3rd elementary school I had attended). Middle School/Jr. High School it was Barnard-White Middle School in Union City California (also the 3rd of this type of school I'd attended) I graduated from Lenape High School in Medford New Jersey (the 2nd high school I attended). My dad was in the military, so we moved around quite a bit. I attended 2 elementary schools in Tennessee, as well as the one in Philly. I attended Middle Schools in Philly, New Jersey and California, and I attended High Schools in California and New Jersey.

If kids often move to another school almost every year, I guess that can be very hard. Everytime they change environment, they need to adjust with classmates and friends. Did you experience this when you were a kid?

I went to: 2 elementry schools - Highland Park & Gullett. (1-6) 2 jr highs (middle schools) - Lamar & Murchison (7-9) 2 high schools - Holy Cross & McCallum (10-12) 3 colleges - Central Texas Community (jr college), Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University), and Texas Woman's University Holy Cross was a catholic school, but the others were "public" or run by the state schools. The colleges & Universities were also state rather than privete schools. I did go to what we called back then nursery school and kindergarden, but they were privete affairs mostly to give my mom some time to do the things she needed done & allow us kids to socialize with other kids.

I am not sure if I have mentioned all but for sure these are the places I know. Thanks for asking. God bless!
