To me, swelling feet is a big deal, because I am just not used to it!

recently, after a trip to california, I got bit pretty bad by a bunch of fleas in my brothers back yard. I tried so hard notto scratch! I bought some medicated cream, slathered my feet with it, and couldn't help it. I hadto itch!
Well, my feet swelled up so big, they looked like balloons and it looked absolutely terrible!
not to mention all the red marks where the fleas bit me.
ever have this problem? it seems my feet are extra sensitive, and they find any reason they can to swell.
I was warned by the doctor years ago that after my surgery this would happen, my legs would swell, I just had no idea!

Oh I know what you mean. I never had a problem with my feet swelling till a couple of years ago. Now anything seems to trigger the one foot to do it a lot. Anything I'm remotely sensitive to will cause it to swell. It drives me nuts because I can feel it and all the water in there. I try putting my foot up and that doesn't help either. I just try to avoid things that seem to make it worse.

Glad to hear they went down. I know how that is though, I'm allergic to ant bites. Even those little brown ones that most people around here swear don't bite, they bite me and I swell horribly; let alone if a fire ant bites me (yikes).
Good luck with keeping them down :)

hey, thanks! So far, so good. my feet actually look fantastic, minus the red marks from all the bites. boy! did they do a number on me!
if those little brown ants don't bite, you might just be having a reaction to them simply touching you? they are always grooming themselves, you know, kind of reminds me of a cat. they say people are not allergic to cat hair, it is actually the saliva that some people are allergic too.
