Should there be a expiry date for discussions here?

My question is simple and obvious, there are thousands of discussions rotating here, many of them belong to old era of this website. Whenever someone starts a new discussion, it gets lost immediately in those old posts. denying exposure to new discussions. That makes a new member feel alone and neglected. Many of them leave this website too due to this reason (For example my referrals :( ).
I would love to see if there is a certain life time for each new discussion, say 1 week or so. That will be good for us too. What do you think? huh?

i think mylot do delete old discussions every month just before payout. Certainly in alerts they have said that is what they do
