I just heard on the news this A.M. that NBC is going to pay jailbird, Paris Hilton, $1,000,000.00 for the first interview about her experience in jail. She is due to be released on Monday. What I want to know is why they didn't call up MY son after he spent 30 days in jail for probation violation? Actually, I know why, and I for one will not watch this interview.

I couldn't agree more - this whole situation is revolting! Give $1m to a spoilt little rich girl who has gotten herself in trouble and feels that life isn't fair - surely this money will only add to her troubles? Do any of these execs who made the deal realise how much good this money could do people who really need help? I am with you - I won't be switching on to this interview! xx

I don't blame NBC one bit. They will invest $1,000,000 and get ten times that in advertizing revenue. I do blame every man, woman and child who wastes their time watching the pampered priss. I'm glad you won't be watching, I won't either.

Hi, Rae, looks like she got more famous for being in Jail. that is crazy. Why would they paid here that kind of money? they didn't do it for The guy that writes Movies. I am trying to them of his name. I think it was Mel Gibson.

I also for one will not view this interview either. I don't like this woman to begin with and feel this is a HUGE waste of money NBC is spending. We know what it was like for her. It's basically been plastered all over the media and internet. Hahaha!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

An example of the sublime to the ridiculous. First she doesn't need the money, second what is going to be revealed about her terrible ordeal that is worth a million dollars?

She is not the first person to be put in jail. What makes her so special. She is getting paid and now think a minute what this says to our young people. If you are rich you can get away with anything. So what she was in jail and now she is even making a profit out of that. She is just a spoiled brat with money that makes her think that she is better than anyone else.

I don't think they should pay her anything, someone should protest it. she is not setting a example for young people like her.
