Hi everyone! I want to know how do you post messages or answers to different discussions here in mylot. Are you a type of person who loves posting with long messages or just simple and brief? Do you like explaining and adding more topic which is related to the discussion you are responding to? And which is better, long or short post?

It all depends on the type of discussion it is.If its something simple then most of the time i can be really brief with my responses. If its something serious or in dept i can get into details and explain myself in my response.

It Doesnt Matter On How Long Or Short Your Responses Are As Long As They Are Informative And Convey The Message You Want To Tell Along With Quality Maintained.

It`s better to write QUALITY posts. They recomend here to be as descriptive as it`s possible. So i prefer to say at least some sentences instead of 1 line. But some discussions are short, some are longer, so it depends of the idea of the discussion. Too long responses are boring to me, we write answers, not novels...

I prefer short but full of information responses because if you post long one you might lose the interest in to o i think a response should be short and meaningful :)

I really want to post long posts but i cannot, sometimes i do long post but that's very rare. Poor in english and sometimes the topic itself is poor. Here in mylot i see some people posting long posts and i really appreciate those posts, some posts are i do long post and such posts might be of my kind of interest or might be some of my real life experience. Most of the times it depends on the kind of post that we are responding to.

Well, i guess it also depends on the person who is posting wether he likes to post long or short, but the meaning and quality of post are the most important. And also, i think if you are interested on the topic you might post a very long answer because you can relate with it.

Actually, I like to post a long discussion and a long responses. This kind of writing is good because I heared that it will generate more 'reward' from mylot. However, I am not doing it yet. I always post a short response because I want to achieve the 500 post mark asap. How about you?

As what others said, long post can help you earn more. Actually, it depends on my mood if i want to post long or short. Sometimes if i can really relate to the discussion i'm responding to i post long answers. It also depends on the topic and if i'm interested with it.

I feel it depends on what discussion one is responding to. If post requires only brief response then i do that but if it requires a detailed response then i do that. It has to be relevant to discussion and has our opinion on it. Besides mylot guidelines state that one should be as descriptive as possible. So i try to do without being too long. Besides in short wht matters, is the quality of post that is what helps our earnings too. happy mylotting:)

I think a long answer is better. I see some people who answer with just no or yes and one liners... It's clear in mylot rules that these kind of posts are not paid so why bother...
Plus when you start/answer/comment on the left under "your response" it reads: Please be as descriptive as possible. So they obviously they prefer long answers because they are more descriptive. I always do my best to answer with a long answer, this benefits me and the person I am answering. None of us gets paid if I answer with a one liner. When I answer someone's discussion who is not on my list of friends it's because they already answered one of my discussions. It's a way for me to thank them. I want them to get some earnings from my answers, that's my best way to say thanks! Take care b_gryl.
