If a partner cheats on you....

Would you give him/her a second chance?
I've thought about this for quite sometime.. This happened to me years back, and I must say that it definitely is the most hurtful thing a woman could get from his respective partner. I did get hurt, it sure is a very cruel thing to do.. but we must always live having an open heart, and an open mind. People do make mistakes.. Everyone, at any point in their lives..has lied or will lie no matter how saintly one person seems to be. The bottomline is, we are not God, so don't try to be. Forgive and forget.. and give that person another chance. And live as the saying goes.. "love is sweeter the second time around." :)

I was once engaged to a man and I walked in on him cheating. He said he would never do it again. I gave him a second chance. I walked in on him cheating again! No third chances. I forgave him and went on my way never to turn back. I could never forget the pain and the feeling of betrayal, it is the lowest thing one can do to someone they say they love.
