What pushes your cranky button?

I have been in the best of spirits 90% of today but suddenly my mood has made a 180 and swung the other way - all because dinner was served late. I have been in the most foul mood ever since.
What makes your cranky engine roar? Mine is sadly being on an empty stomach. I need mah food!
