Single Parents

Are single parents causing social problems? Single parents have been blamed for a yob culture, What do you think. I am a single parent (not by choice) and I feel my kids are well behaved and well mannered. I have heard the rise in single parents is the cause of anti social children, but could this be because we are now going a lot softer on our kids, both at home and at school.

I totally disagree about single parents causing social problems. A single parents can be just as effective and loving a a two-parent home. I agree that that issue in misbehaving children is that most parents and schools do not set strict limits for children and discipline them if they do not stay within these limits.
