networking is actually defined as network of networks. networking is of two types one is internet and intranet. internet is known to all it is the one which we use and intranet is the one which is used by multinational companies and by some others to share data within there own companies which away from one other.it is used by these companies and connects only them whereas internet connect all

Networking is not just connecting two or more computers but making use of that. When you say you are in a network it necessarily means that you are connected but it doesn't means that you area necessarily working! i mean making use of that connection. The internet and intranet are nothing related to this, they are the way more than two computers/communication may be connected, say like types of topologies.
