Well, the TV has died. I think I can live without it, except that my kids and the kids I babysit like to watch a movie sometimes and play on the GameCube. What would you do without a TV?

Yes, I need those ideas for the afternoon when it is too hot for the kids to play outside. Thanks for your ideas.

I'd go out more and spend time with different people. I'd rather go out more, although I would read to pass the time as well. But it would be good for me to shut off the TV and go out with some friends.

Getting the kids outside in the morning would be good, but it will be too hot in the afternoon. Thanks for your thoughts.

I can go without tv easily. I don't watch it that much. What I can miss is not being able to sign up online. I prefer using the internet to watching tv. For my kid and my husband it would be a big problem though. They both like to watch tv.

I agreed with you. I would miss the internet so much more than the TV.

We have a tv now, but I don't watch it very much. My hubby is watching an old show on NetFlix right now.

There are really several things to do when there is no TV specially if we have kids. It can be a good bonding time for me and my son. We both read a book or do story-telling. We play board games like snakes and ladders. We play with his toys too. Do painting or drawing together. The activities are endless if we use our creativity and imagination. You would soon discover that life without TV wouldn't be at all boring.

I would rather read a book or work a crossword puzzle. You are right about there being so many things to do.
