MyLot feature.....

I think spell check I am the worst speller so that would help me out alot

Well its not a feature but I would love for mylot to decide on what they are going to pay us per response instead of keeping it a secret. What they should do is give us a minimum of how many characters we should type per response and have a base pay per response instead of what they have now. I think they would get more people to join and get the inactive member to become active if they knew how much they were actually getting per response.

I agree with you and edit button really would be nice. I sometimes hit the wrong key and don't always see it untill affter I have hit the post button or as you have forgot the photo or lost it in the transition. But yeas a edit button would be nice. I see some other Forums have them.

I would like a feature on the friend's list that would tell us the last time they were online and when was the last time they responded to one of our discussions!! But I am not holding my breathe for either!

I would like to be able to have easy access to smileys to use within the text. I know I could import from another site but it would be so much easier to have them right on this site to use in our posts.

i agree that we need an Edit Option/Button. I have so many typos in my postings it'll take a code breaker till next millenium to figure out what i am typing.

Not only would I like to see an edit button, but I would also like to see a button added so that we could remove our own old discussions if we wanted to...you know, the ones that haven't gotten responses for AGES. LOL

I'd love an edit button. I'd also like to have the option of deleting profanity laced responses, instead of having to wait for MyLot to do it, which they will do eventually. To my own discussions, of course, not anyone else's. And that is not a common thing, so I doubt it will be addressed.

I would love mylot to add an "who's online" option, so we can keep tabs of our friends who are active and I would also love to see some more detail added. ~Joey

I didn't search on the terms this discussion is tagged with, except for myLot, so I didn't know you had this one up already. I am sorry for the similar discussion, and I'm glad it didn't hurt the popularity of this one. Be well!

I love MyLot the way that it is but there are several features that they could add. Some of these are more like features offered by MySpace and could be such that they also offer features that Associated Content has. The edit button for discussions would be great. Also, a chat or instant message feature. Other things that could be added are the ability to upload one's own music or videos to one's profile and then incorporate them into discussions. I would like to say MyLot is incredible the way it is. However, even the best of anything has room for improvement. That is the premise of a report I have written but have not yet released concerning performance improvement, although that report is more focused around the individual than a company or web entity such as MyLot.

Yes it should be a feature added, and edit button too, it is a good tinking too,

I've suggested once before that this site needs a dating service!! it has lots of members that know alot about each other.. why not dating then :) that I'd love to see in mylot..

Edit would be great! I often times find typos- or when I go back and reread it- I think boy that sounded stupid! Lol… I’d gladly go in and change some of my posts- I’d also like to see the Ignore button- Sometimes certain people can be really mean- and degrading- so I’d like to hit ignore and then not see them again! : )

Yes, I agree, this site really does need an edit button. I am surprised that it doesn't yet. Hopefully they will end up doing one, it will make things better one here.

Hi friend, I have a great desire to insert audio and video into mylot. But there is no option for that.. Now from your discussion, edit is also needed. Yes its important. But i think there is some demerits for adding edit button. We can always change our discussion according to the situation if there is edit option. If anyone respond to a discussion, and after a while the owner think its not good and will change, the responder's response may feel that there is no relation between the discussion topic and that of his discussion... So there have de-merits more than that of merit so take care dear friend.....

Argh, I agree! I would love to see an edit button added as there is so much that we could do if we had one and also a delete button :-) The thing with the photo has happened to me too lol But I suppose myLot has their own reasons for not having that feature here. Once you got the privilege to add photos to each of your responses you could simply go back to your old responses and edit them in which would make you quite a lot of money :-D Also you could keep working on responses making them bigger each day to make more money out of them. The edit button may be there to keep people form abusing the system, but I still think it should be included. Maybe we should all contact myLot via e-mail about this issue and see what they have to say about it ;-) Rated +.

I think the edit button is the one and most important feature that is missing here at mylot. There are a lot of times I post discussions then realise that I made some slight mistakes or that i forgot to add one or two statements. There are also times when I need to remove some things that I wrote on the response and but then there is no way to do that. it is like sending an email; once sent, there nothing you can do about it.
