Do you like looking tan?

When I was in high school in SoCal, I loved going to the beach, preferably, Newport Beach or HB.
My friends and I would go all day and stay all night...
As a teenager, I also worked at a tanning salon in Hacienda Heights for one of my Mom's friends.
I loved working there, taking appts, cleaning the beds and getting tans...
So, do you like looking tan?

When I was a teenager it was important to me but now that I am an adult and a mom I really dont care any more. It is not important to me.

Okay, but do you use the faux tan at home? I use this for my body and face.
In the summer, I really want to look my best because my legs and arms are not covered. In the winter, I could care less.

Nope I dont do anythingto make myself tan at all. I dont have the desire or the time. I am a full time stay home mom everything I do I do for my kids. I dont get time for myself.

I too am a stay at home mommy to my twin girls, but, I will
not deny myself time to make myself feel good and look good.
Plus, I ususally do this self tanning stuff when my babies are down for the evening.

Yes, tanning, in the sun, can make you look old before your time, while lotion tanning is a gradual tan that I have come to like much better.

I like having a tan, but not a dark, deep tan. That kind looks un-natural. I used to burn very badly as a kid and teenager whenever I spent time in the sun. But, as I've grown older, I burn less, and my skin turns a golden color, but not dark.

Ys but I am afraid of skin cancer. I am thinking about trying one of those new body moistureizers and that are supposed to gradually give you a tan.

Oh yes, I use those and love them. I use one from Bath and Body works and one from Neutregena?
I love them..they are so much better than getting burned..

Considering that I love being out in the sun during the summer, I love looking tan. I spend countless hours at the beach every summer. This is how I get my suntan. I don't go to tanning salons or use suntan lotion. I hate being pale all year long. I think being pale is annoying and it doesn't look good on me. I must watch out that I don't get burned.
